As most of my friends know while I don't consider myself fanatical about anything, the closest I come to it is declaring myself a "Weird Al" Yankovic fan. However, most people who do consider themselves Al Fanatics put me to shame. (I'm looking at you, Tony Goldmark.)
Today's Twisted Tuesday episode is somewhat delayed due to a pain in my side. I'm hoping it's some kind of weird pulled muscle rather that an internal organ deciding that its warranty has expired. Nonetheless, here's a handy song by "Weird Al" that teaches us about the pancreas with some physics thrown in for good measure.

Hope to be back in better shape next week. Eventually there will be more "Weird Al" video, but I'll try not to force them on people too often.
Last Friday, [livejournal.com profile] brigideire, [livejournal.com profile] pixie0fd00m, and I met up at the San Mateo Fairground to see "Weird Al" Yankovic in concert. Had his Monterey show been cheaper, I might have seen him the next night as well. It was a good show, though the set list was abbreviated to fit into the two hour time slot mandated by (I assume) the Fair or the City.

I also ran into [livejournal.com profile] gridlore and [livejournal.com profile] kshandra, [livejournal.com profile] dawnd and [livejournal.com profile] akienm. [livejournal.com profile] the_ogre was around as well, but I didn't get to say hi to him. I'm sure I'm forgetting at least a couple friendly faces, but hopefully they'll forgive me if they're reading this. Okay on to the set list. )

Last night, [livejournal.com profile] brigideire and I went to the San Joaquin County Fair in Stockton to see “Weird Al” Yankovic in concert. There was no opener (and with the length of the concert, none was needed) and some small technical glitches here and there, but it sounded good, and was a great show. The first problem was some issues with the video projectors, which caused them to start late-a little after 8:30.

So... On to the set list: )
