Ben Stein dropped by The Al Franken Show (co-hosted by Katherine Lanpher) at the Republican National Convention and cracked me up with this exchange:

Al: "We had a debate and sometimes we do these debates. And we always frustrate them by calling the debates 'Stein-Franken'."

Ben: "Yes, exactly." {laughter}

Al: "The people who sponsor us pay big money..."

Katherine: "You know what I love? You both still smile at that joke, no matter how many times..."

Ben: "It's a very good joke. And it's Al's joke. I don't want to pretend it's my joke. It's Al's joke."

Al: "And there's these people that pay big money and they go, like, 'No, no! It's Franken-Stein! Don't you get it?'"
